⚠ SECTION 34 DISPERSAL ORDER ⚠

Following a number of public order incidents in Newbury today, we have enacted a Section 34 Dispersal Order, covering the areas shaded on this map from Newbury town centre, bordering Bartholomew Street, Northbrook Street, Oddfellows Road, Station Road, Strawberry Hill, London Road, and the A339, Parkway, incorporating Victoria Park.

Under the order, police have powers to disperse any individual or groups causing public disorder or nuisance.

Anybody dispersed under this order is liable to arrest should they refuse to comply with the order or return to the area while the order is in place.

The order is in place until 2am on Monday morning.
