We are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Aylesbury. 

At around 3.30pm yesterday (6/4), officers were called to Grafton Road following reports of a man with stab wounds. 

He was taken to hospital for treatment where he is in a serious but stable condition. 

A man, aged 42, from Aylesbury, has been arrested of attempted murder and remains in police custody at this time. 

There is a scene watch in place in Grafton Road and this is likely to remain until tomorrow (8/4).
