Police are investigating an report of two dogs acting in an aggressive manner in  HG1 postcode of Harrogate

It happened around 15:00pm on 02 APRIL 2025 on the footbridge from Dragon Road  to Mayfield Terrace

The incident involved two brown bull mastiff dogs which were off lead and without an owner that approached a female dog owner and smaller dog on the footbridge. Members of the public had to intervene to remove the aggressive dogs and prevent serious injury occurring to the other dog and dog owner. 

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding the owner of the two bull mastiff dogs which are believed to reside locally? Did you intervene and assist in securing the dogs at the scene and or helping the female dog walker.
