Last week the local team were busy making several arrests locally for various matters, with some of these relating to domestic violence matters. 

There has been a really good result recently that I am pleased to update you on. After officers stopped a vehicle on Westcotes Drive and found drugs, this then led onto further searches at local addresses and more drugs were found. Due to this x3 individual were charged with numerous offences. Due to this an additional nearby address had their tenancy terminated due to the drug activity.

As a team were are keen to resolve issues long term and this often requires working with various partner agencies and private landlords. 

We have also seen a slight increase in burglaries compared to previous weeks. These relate to wallets and other items being stolen. Please be mindful that in many cases bank cards are then used soon after to purchase goods.
