An operation took place in Castlefield to combat the rise in drug offences.   Here are the results:

Friday 28th March 

Four people arrested for drug supply offences 

Vehicle seized, Estimated £2000 worth of drugs seized.

Tuesday 1st April 

A person was arrested for recall on license.

A drink driver was arrested he was also outstanding for theft of motor vehicle offence.

Male dealt with for no license and no insurance – vehicle seized .

Car stopped 4 males arrested for drug supply offences – car seized, £3000 cash, cannabis, phones located and seized.

Wednesday 2nd April 

Female dealt with for possession of class A.

Male arrested for drug supply offences and handling stolen goods. Estimated £2000 worth of suspected stolen good recovered and drug line disrupted. 

Two males arrested for immigration offences and traffic offences.

Three motor vehicles seized.
