On the evening of Saturday 5th April response officers from St Austell together with a police dog unit attended a business premises in Par following a report of an intruder. On arrival they successfully located a male within the premises with suspected stolen items and tools for use in a burglary. The male, from the Bodmin area, was arrested and is currently in custody at Camborne Police Station awaiting interview.
