We are continuing to experience several reports of theft from vehicle incidents in the Bolehall and Tamworth area with items stolen. 

As the nights draw in here are some tips that may help secure your vehicles.

. Always lock your vehicle fully and close all windows when left unattended.

. Consider having an approved alarm fitted.

. Use a sold secure approved visible deterrent such as a steering wheel lock.

. If you have a garage, store your vehicle in it when not in use - install a garage door Defender Lock and garage alarm for extra security.

. Install ‘dusk til dawn’ security lighting on your driveway and consider external CCTV.

. Deter access with a securely locked gate, a perimeter alarm or retractable bollards.

. Remove all valuable items from your vehicle over night.

. For work vans, consider installing an approved ‘Van Vault’ to secure your work tools.
