Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling A report at 12.04am on Thursday 3 April at Brand Court, Brand Lane, Stanton Hill, Sutton in Ashfield, that a flat had been broken into in the last few hours. Between 9.00pm on Tuesday 8 and 7.45am on Wednesday 9 April in Skegby Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a property under renovation was broken into, the back door being smashed in to gain access. An iron safe/safety locker was stolen from an upstairs room and wooden wall panelling was damaged as it was carried out. Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle Between 8.00pm on Sunday 6 and 6.30am on Monday 7 April in Brandreth Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a white Ford Transit van, containing tools, was stolen from the roadside. Theft from motor vehicle Between 5.00pm on Wednesday 2 and 6.55am on Thursday 3 April in Farndale Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a white Volkswagen Sirocco GTS and a white Volkswagen Beetle TDi were broken into and the glove boxes opened. Cigarettes and £10 in cash was stolen. Theft Around 7.45pm on Monday 7 April in Forest Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a light blue Trek Rosco 7 mountain bike, left unlocked outside the door to McDonald’s Restaurant, was stolen by a white male, with a red mark on his face, wearing a grey top. The bike was found later and recovered by the owner. Criminal Damage Nothing to report ASB At 5.00am on Sunday 6 April in Westbourne Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of drug addicts sleeping in a communal area leaving wraps and needles lying around and refusing to leave. This morning they smashed a window.
