Online Beat Surgery 27th February - Feedback

Hi Resident,

Tonight at 7pm, PCSO Supervsior Cheryll Lavell & PCSO Chris Ramdeen will be holding the next Online Beat Surgery for Shenley, South Mimms & Ridge.

How to Join:

Zoom/MS Teams Meeting Web Link: Click Here

Phone Number: +44 20 7660 8343

Tele Conference ID: 474 785 331#

It will be live 45 mins for a quick presentation about who we are, our work on the local priorities in Shenley Ward followed by a Q&A.

The recording of the meeting will be available soon on Facebook/YouTube for those who can't attend at the time. We will try to answer any comments later on where we can directly or at the next meeting.

You Said, We Did!

The issues raised at the last meeting for those who want a quick summary and our actions following from it  were :

- Speeding in Ridge Village at rush hour(s)

We did 5 different speed enforcements. Unfortunately, no tickets were issued however multiple drivers were spoken to with warnings given verbally. The fastest speed recorded was 34mph and the resident who raised the issue was able to attend with us for some enforcements and see it at work.

- Heavy Lorries on Country Back Roads around Shenley/Ridge such as Crossoaks Lane.

There is a larger piece of work on the Restriction Zones that needs to be reviewed and we are considering a larger enforcement to be done. There is an exception for those loading at local businesses. I'm sure there are those not doing this but all vehicles stopped will be checked for this with checks against the local addresses/businesses. We don't have dates set at the moment but should hopefully be able to share soon.

- How to Contact specifically the Potters Bar & Shenley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) for a general query ?
Answer is to email us at PottersBarandShenley@Herts.police.uk unless it's an Emergency or a crime has happened (then report Online or call 101). Alternatively, reply to any message on Herts Connected.

- How do I know what work we are doing on Potters Bar & Shenley NPT?

Check out our Socials including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok or on Herts Connected. These meetings are uploaded to YouTube.

If you wish to attend the next meeting, it will be held on 22nd May 2025 . Please feel free to come and see/ask questions.

In the meantime, please fill in the Priority Survey. It does truly feed into what we focus our time on.

Thanks,
