We have had a report of people offering to jet wash and seal driveways to elderly and vulnerable people in and around the area of The Holly Grove in Quedgeley and there are concerns it could be a scam. To prevent doorstep seller crime, it's crucial to be cautious and never buy goods or services from uninvited callers. Display a "No Cold Calling" sticker and avoid answering the door to strangers. If you do agree to have work done, get multiple written quotes, don't pay cash, and take your time to think before signing anything. Please look out for your elderly and vulnerable neighbours and educate them of these type of incidents.
