Good Afternoon,

Unfortunately we have received reports of a number of burglaries that have taken place throughout Darwen on the evening of Friday 11th April into Saturday 12th April. A small group of people have been trying handles on houses and vehicles, and have gained entry to several of these and been able to steal items. These incidents have occurred mainly around the St Aidan's Ave area of Darwen, but some have been reported further afield. 

We are asking anyone with any information or CCTV footage to contact Lancashire Constabulary on 101 or through our online reporting system, quoting reference LC-20250413-0527. If you are a victim of these offences, and have not yet informed the Police, we urge you to make contact and report this through 101 or online.

We are taking this opportunity to remind the public to ensure that doors and windows are locked, and any suspicious activity is reported to the Police.
