Witness Appeal The Rype Lydd

Hello all.

I am aware of the Razor Blades that have been found on The Rype in Lydd today.

Please can the person who was the author of the post on The Real Marsh Watch Facebook group email me 13183@kent.police.uk or if it's before 18:00 today (13/04) ring me on 07966308014. Also if anyone has any information as to how the items came to be there also ring or email me please.

At the time of posting this message I am unaware of there being any evidence that someone has deliberately done this however, if anyone knows anything to the contrary you must report this via the Kent Police website online reporting or ring 101 and please email me.

I have spoken to my colleagues from the Civil Nuclear Police at Dungeness as they kindly attended the area and spoke with a local councillor and they have updated me. Unfortunately at the time I was dealing with a collision on Dungeness Road so wasn't able to attend.

This matter is very important to us and I will take information from anyone that has anything that they think is connected to this however, until we know the facts can I ask that you don't speculate about it so as not to worry others unduly. Of course the Facebook post was extremely helpful because it warned others of the potential danger but as I said, I am not aware yet if this was a deliberate act and when I have an update for you, I will put out another post.

Thank you for your help and cooperation.

Steve.
