Anti-Social Behaviour: Wendy's in Whitby

North Yorkshire Police are targeting patrols in Whitby Town Centre, with particular focus on the area of Wendy's near Baxtergate in recent weeks.

Reports in the area have lead to shared concern around issues of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), accompanied by foul behaviour towards staff.

It is understood the issues are often caused by a one large group of youths in particular. Parents with children who regularly “go out”  should to consider where there children actually are and if they frequent the area: groups of children will likely be engaged with by Police patrols in the area.

While Police continue to engage with staff, residents of Whitby who are in the area are encouraged to report ASB to Police, even if it is not happening near your home.
