IT'S A SCAM-

We would like to alert you to a potential Scam call that is happening at the moment.  They are calling from a mobile number and when you answer the phone it is automated and says" WE WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT WORK, WHATSAPP US".  They are also texting people with the following: 

If you are suspicious about any calls or texts you receive on your mobile, home phone or online please report in the first instance to:

Action Fraud is the UK's national reporting centre for fraud and cyber crime.  Members of the public, businesses and charities can report to Action Fraud online or on the phone (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Why is it important to report?

Each year , fraud and cyber crime costs the UK economy billions of pounds and the money obtained by fraudsters and cyber criminals can be used to fund crimes like drug smuggling and many more crimes.  By reporting fraud and cyber crime, you will enable law enforcement to understand how these criminals operate and help catch them.

Remember criminals may be calling, suspect anyone you don't know, regardless of who they claim to be.  Previous reports have had fraudsters calling claiming to be a Police Officer or bank official and state that bank cards have been used fraudulently or they need assistance to investigate criminality within the bank.

Don't part with any of your personal information or money.  Remember, the Police and your bank would NEVER ask for such details as your PIN or account numbers over the phone.
