Attention Everyone: Your Voice Matters!

If you've been a victim of crime, we urge you to report it to the police. We understand that sharing your experience on social media can be a way to seek support, but it's crucial that you also inform us directly.

Why? Because if we don't know about it, we can't take action. Every officer joins the police force to make a difference, and your report could be the missing piece in a larger puzzle.

We've noticed an increase in victims posting about their experiences on Facebook without notifying us. Please remember, we want to help and we need your information to do so effectively.

Together, we can make our community safer. Report your crime to the police and let us take the necessary steps to bring justice and prevent further incidents.

Van owners!

Across the nation we've seen a huge rise in van break-ins and tool thefts, which impacts honest working people who need their tools to earn a living!

Thieves are targeting vans, stealing valuable tools, and causing significant damage to doors which has huge financial losses to their owners.

Whilst we are increasing patrols in and around your local areas, both mobile and on foot,  our local community are a huge assist reporting any information.. being our eyes and ears.. if you see anything suspicious or have unfortunately fell victim to a crime let us know – it may help us piece the jigsaw together.

Here are some steps you can take to protect yourself and your property:

🔒 Secure Your Van:

  • Park in well-lit areas with high foot traffic.
  • Install additional locks like deadbolts and puck locks.
  • Use alarm systems with motion sensors.
  • Add barriers to windows and between the cabin and the back of the van.
  • Avoid advertising your business on the van to reduce attention.
  • 🛠️ Protect Your Tools:

  • Mark your tools with identifiable information.
  • Keep an inventory of all your tools, including serial numbers and photos.
  • Invest in tool insurance to cover losses.
  • Avoid leaving tools in the van overnight whenever possible.
  • Use surveillance cameras to monitor your van and tools.
  • Keep an eye on this page for free tool marking events.

Let's work together to keep our community safe!

Share this post to spread awareness and help prevent further thefts. 💪
