Man pleads guilty to attempted burglaries in Cheshunt

A man has pleaded guilty at court to two attempted burglaries in Cheshunt last month.

Police were called in the early hours of Tuesday 25 March to reports of attempts being made to enter a property on Landmead Road and then another on Drakes Close. 

Officers attended and a man was arrested near to Drakes Close.

Joshua Romanowski, aged 25, of no fixed abode, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted burglary, being in possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.

He was remanded and is due for sentencing at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 22 April.
