Police Appeal for CCTV – Theft from Vehicle Incident in Racecourse, Silverdale

We are appealing for any CCTV or doorbell camera footage following a theft from a vehicle in the Racecourse area of Silverdale. The incident, which included a break-in to a neighbour’s van, took place overnight and was reported on 08/04/2025

We are particularly interested in any footage captured between 1900-0600am that may show any suspicious activity or individuals in the area.

Safety Advice:

Always lock your vehicle, even when parked on your driveway or outside your home, keyless vehicles use a faraday pouch

Remove all valuables from display and take tools or expensive items inside overnight.

If you have a van, consider using additional security measures such as steering locks, deadlocks, or alarm systems.

Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
