At approx. 21:15hrs on 14th April, and also on Sunday evening, North Yorkshire Police received calls in relation to nuisance behaviour by young persons on Sycamore Road in Barlby. Reports included unknown youths banging on the doors of residents, causing alarm and distress to some older occupants.

Please can we encourage you to remind young persons in your household of the potential impact of their behaviour on others when out and about.

What may seem like fun to some can cause unnecessary upset to others including past incidents where by damage has been caused as a result of extreme banging on door(s).
