A Dispersal Order under Section 34 of the Anti-social behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 has been put in place today in Barton. 

The order allows uniformed Police Constables and PCSO’s the power to issue dispersal orders, directing individuals to leave a specific area and not return for a specified period up to 48 hours. The authorisation is in place until until 23:59pm on 15/04/2025 in the area defined on the map below. 

This is as a result of ongoing incidents of anti-social behaviour in the area.

You will see an increase of patrols in the area, do not be alarmed, engage with the officers and report any concerns you have with us. Alternatively you can report online, or call 101. 

ASB has a significant impact on communities, this is just one of the tools available to police to disrupt this behaviour.
