Appeal for witnesses following racially aggravated public order offence in Studland


Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a racially aggravated public order offence in Studland.

 

At around 6.20pm on Tuesday 8 April 2025, it is reported that a woman was racially abused as she waited to catch the chain ferry from Studland to Sandbanks with her son.

 

Police Constable Aimee Holland, of Dorset Police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have been exploring all lines of enquiry in relation to this incident.

 

“I would ask anyone who saw what happened – and has not already spoken to police – to please come forward.

 

“I understand a number of members of the public supported the victim after the incident and I would like to thank them for their assistance.”
