Crime prevention

We are aware of vehicle interference happening in your area. While we work to deal with the incidents,

here is some crime prevention advice to keep Vehicle safe.

Police have received reports of a person trying car door handles in the Burford Drive area of Stroud on the 15th of April 2025 at approximately 23:10 hrs.

Police are reminding residents in Stroud to lock their vehicles, taking any personal belongings from the vehicle . Including bags, mobile phones, laptops, wallets & purses. Please don't leave anything on show in your car that could be tempting to thieves like loose change , bank cards, dashcams & sunglasses .

Thieves are opportunists who are looking for valuable's on display in your vehicle and will often try the door handles to see if they have been left unlocked.
