Man charged following burglaries in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks

Good evening Resident,

A suspected thief has been charged in connection with a series of burglaries in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

Between 28 March and 7 April 2025, Kent Police received three reports of properties in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks being targeted by a burglar.

It is alleged the suspect gained access each time by smashing windows and patio doors, and took items such as watches, jewellery, silverware, and cash.

Investigators have linked the three offences in Kent to a similar break-in in Bromley on 17 January.

Officers later arrested a man on Thursday 10 April in connection with the incidents.

Charge

Frederic Webb, of Hitchen Hatch Lane in Sevenoaks, has now been charged with burglary.

The 39 year old has been remanded to custody pending a court hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 9 May 2025.
