Bardon Beat Priorities Update

Good afternoon

BARDON BEAT WEEKLY UPDATE!

It has been a busy week this week! In line with our current beat priorities here is the breakdown of some of work that has been done!

ASB - Multiple patrols have been completed throughout the week to try and combat some of the issues that have been occurring on the #BardonBeat. Thankfully on the majority of occasions no issues were reported. A couple of youths and parents have been spoken to regarding reports of Anti Social Behaviour and also criminal damage and have been dealt with accordingly. There is still one more young person which is yet to be identified that has been involved in Anti Social Behaviour. Efforts will continue to get them identified so they too can be dealt with.

OFF ROAD MOTORBIKES 🏍️ - Patrols for off -road motorbikes are still one of our priorities to try and tackle. There has been reports of off road motorbikes and officers have attended sites. We will continue to try and tackle this with regular patrols. Please also continue to report off road motorbikes to North West Leicestershire District Council.

ROAD SAFETY AND PARKING - A speeding Operation has been in place this week. These have been conducted at Grange Road in Hugglescote and Loughbourough Road, Thringstone. This is because we have had reports of speeding in these areas. 2 traffic offence reports were issued during and 3 drivers were spoken to and given words of advice. At Thringstone we monitored 75 vehicles and one driver was given words of advice for doing 34mph in a 30mph zone!

Please let us know where speeding issues are so we can try and plan further speeding operations!

Happy Easter! 🐰
