Afternoon All

We are currently investigating a criminal damage that happened at St James’ church on Slater Lane. Damage has been caused to the Church Building and a large number of gravestones.

This investigation is currently being led by CID, but enquiries are still ongoing.

We take these incidents very seriously and we want to speak to whoever has done this.

Officers from the South Ribble Neighbourhood Policing team are out looking for CCTV in the area, if you have any cameras, please can you have a look between 00:00 and 09:30 on Friday 18th April 2025, If you have any information please call 101 quoting log 0399 of the 18th April 2025.
