OPU officers have successfully intercepted a cloned vehicle linked to rural crime in the Worcester / Malvern area. The occupants were promptly stopped, their details verified, and thorough searches conducted on both them and the vehicle.

The driver, who lacked both a license and insurance, admitted awareness of the false plates but claimed the vehicle belonged to a friend. Enquiries are ongoing. The vehicle has been seized, tickets issued for various driving offences, and the occupants have been warned about the consequences of driving such vehicles.
