PC Simon (Si) Golding – Neighbourhood Police Constable, Bolton Town Centre

PC Simon Golding, known as Si, has proudly served as a Police Constable in Bolton for the past eight years, bringing dedication, experience, and a strong community focus to every role he’s undertaken. Over the course of his career, Si has worked in a variety of capacities, gaining a well-rounded understanding of frontline policing and the unique challenges and rewards that come with serving the Bolton area.

In July 2024, he joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team, where he continues to thrive in the fast-paced and diverse environment of Bolton town centre. Si finds great satisfaction in the varied nature of the role—whether responding to incidents, supporting local businesses, or simply being a visible and approachable presence on the streets. He understands that often, just being seen and available makes a real difference to public confidence and community reassurance.
