Delves neighbourhood team updates

Dear Resident

The Delves NHT have been out on the neighbourhood conducting patrols around all locations of our beat  during the course of the week and have made arrests for various offences. Along with supporting other officers from neighbouring locations when required.

With the schools on holiday our local Palfrey park as been very busy with adults and children enjoying the green open space. Each day during our shifts the park has been visited, with no issues of note to report.

We have had the following crimes reported to us:

Between 21:00hrs 14th April and 09:17 15th April a vehicle was broken into on Broadway and a Apple mobile phone was stolen.

On 18th April two unknown offenders turned up on a moped and tried to force the window open on a property on Sutton road. The home owner was in and scared them off ( No entry gained )

On 15th April Between 18;00hrs and 19:00hrs  3 unknown offenders have attended Bescot retail park  on two motorbikes. They have then snapped the steering lock of a parked motor bike and tried to steal it. A member of the public intervened in this to prevent the theft. The unknown offenders then made a good escape in an unknown direction, without the bike they attempted to steal. Enquires and investigation is ongoing.

We have had a theft of number plates from Milton street.

On 16th April at approx 00:30hrs 2 unknown offenders have tried car door handles in Queen Mary Street, ( No entry gained )

Please have a lovely Easter break whatever you are up to, but please remember keep them eyes peeled.
