Dear Resident,
On Tuesday, SNT attended Hereford railway station for an organised event with British Transport Police. We spoke to members of staff and many members of the public about push bikes and what they can do to reduce crime.
We marked many bikes with Smartwater, registering them on our app, and provided high visibility accessories including bags and rucksack covers. It was great to chat to the children who came over about bike safety and being seen on the road, especially to and from school.
The railway station is used by many people from much further afield than our county, and we met two chaps who had come from Cambridgeshire and were making their way to the Outer Hebrides! They were using the trains and riding the roads with stops on the way. We marked their bikes and provided advice.
 We hope to complete more bike marking events in the future, so please keep an eye out for events should you wish to get your own bike marked.
