Dear Residents
Seven suspected car key burglars arrested in Dudley Seven people have been arrested after we executed a series of warrants this morning in Dudley targeting suspected car key burglars.
An 18-year-old man and six teenage boys aged between 15 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary. They all remain in custody for questioning.
This comes after a series of more than 30 burglaries were committed in Dudley between last July and February. Car keys and personal items were stolen from addresses.
We often see a rise in burglaries during the Easter holidays as people pack up and leave their houses unoccupied or unlocked.
The most important thing to do is to layer up your home and vehicle security. Adding multiple layers of protection can delay and deter thieves.
