Incident update, 'You Say,We Go', Police Street Surgeries & a good news story

Good morning everyone,

I hope you all are having a good week.

Update - Shillingford Dr

Regarding the suspicious incident reported on 13/04/25 on Shillingford Dr.  I have completed enquiries into this matter and residents can be reassured that I am happy that nothing untoward took place.

We recently received a report that 2 rabbits had been stolen from a school in the Blurton area. On 17/04/2025 myself and PCSO Perry followed lines of enquiry and located the rabbits. It was a great feeling going home knowing that the rabbits were not going to spend another day away from their home.

They were returned back to the school and I have since spoken to staff who confirmed they are doing very well and have settled back into their home - where they should never of been taken from.

ASB

There has been a couple of sightings of a motorbike being driven in an anti-social manner in the Hanford area. If you have any information in relation to this please let me know.

Last week I patrolled a number of locations that residents had requested, these included…

Hanford Park

The alleyway between Burrington Dr and Cardigan Gr

Checks were made of the canal from Atlantic Gr, Caspian Gr & Jonathan Rd

And I also looked into parking concerns on Newington Gr.

I am happy to report that I came across no problems at every location.
