Officers have been carrying out speed checks on Bolton Road, Ilkley following concerns raised by local residents.

Some residents estimated that vehicles had been seen travelling in excess of 80mph. On the day, the highest speed recorded was 38mph in the 30mph limit.

We will continue to carry out checks in the area and deal with offenders accordingly.
