A 19-year-old man from Totton has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and attempt burglary.

The man, who remains in police custody at this time, was detained on Calmore Drive, Totton shortly before 4am today (Thursday 24 April).

The arrest followed reported incidents on Cadnam Lane and Calmore Drive, also in the early hours of this morning.

Involved in the arrest were officers from the New Forest Neighbourhood Enforcement Team and District Policing Team. Enquiries are ongoing.
