Burglary to Business premises- Farm on Clothall Road


Dear Resident

 

Between Thursday 24th April at 21:30pm- Friday 25th April 07:15am a burglary took place at a Farm on Clothall Road, Clothall.

 

Offenders have entered the main gate removing the hinges. Then entered the barn on the premises, by damaging the lock, whilst inside the barn they have removed a generator and lawnmower, by using the owners digger. They have also gone to the shipping container and used an angle grinder to gain access, but did not take any items. Before leaving the offenders have emptied a container of crop chemical onto the seat of the digger damaging the seat.

Tips to prevent burglary:

  • Check windows and doors are secured before leaving the premises  

  • Ensure burglar alarms are set correctly when premises are closed.

  • Consider using CCTV cameras or a monitored burglar alarm. 

  • Don’t leave valuables in visible places.

  • Keep equipment locked away, that could be used to break into your premises.
