Good Afternoon Everyone 

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable and safe week with the children soon returning to school after the Easter Break. I have been away for 2 weeks myself, so I want to provide you an overview within this period.

We have recently conducted a drugs search warrant at a local address which resulted in a person being arrested for drug dealing matters. This type of action often has a wider positive impact on the community as it disrupts matters locally and further afield. 

We are aware that residents will on occasions, some more frequent than others have issues of drug dealing or use in their street. We advise that you let us know of these locations as soon as possible. We can then focus other patrols and use our search powers when appropriate. You can report online to Leics Police or to Crime Stoppers (anonymously) if people prefer.

This week we have also seen several burglaries in the area being reported. But in good news a male has been arrested and charged for a burglary at a home on 21st April.

We also received a report of theft of cycles from a rear garden in the Western Road Area.

We will be attending the Leicester Rowing Regetta tomorrow (Sunday 27th) on the Canal towpath. If you are attending this great event please have a chat with us while we are on patrol.
