Good afternoon Rutland,
This morning has been a busy start to the shift for myself and PC Hughes with us kitting up as soon as we got in. It started off with us attending what appeared to a broken-down vehicle, this was not as reported, thankfully the driver was safe and well and after a pleasant conversation we were on our way to incident number 2 of the day. We then headed over to Uppingham on a Grade 1 for a concern for welfare, after completing an area search and speaking to a few dog walkers in the area the person was unable to be located. We then assisted the Neighbourhood Priority Team in Uppingham with an arrest attempt for a person in relation to Domestic related offences, the person was located a short while later and transported to custody. This is an ongoing investigation so I can’t comment any further. We both finish duty soon however PC Spruce is on duty this evening to keep us all safe. A polite reminder that the CiCLE Classic is on tomorrow, starting at 1100 and finishing at 1530 so please allow extra time to your journey and be patient with the road closures. Myself, PC Hughes, PC McKinnon and PC Spruce are all Policing the CiCLE Classic tomorrow so if you see us out and about please stop and say hello. PCSO Lauren LYALL | ||||
