Lots of officers are on hand and actively responding to protest activity near Lynn Lane in Shenstone, Lichfield. 

A section of road from Pinfold Hill to Lynn Lane is currently closed. 

We are working to balance the rights of the protestors against the rights of those affected by it, which includes minimising the impact of disruption to local businesses, the community and the road network. 

The ability to protest peacefully in a democracy is important but it is also important there are consequences for those who break the law. 

Officers have been deployed proactively in the area and are on hand to respond to any concerns and to bring the protest to a peaceful, safe resolution.
