“We are aware of an HGV that had caused an obstruction to other road users in Mill Rd/Oakamoor Rd in OAKAMOOR on FRIDAY 25th APRIL 2025. The HGV driver had gone down a narrow single track country lane and got stuck for approximately 3 hours. The situation has been dealt with by Moorlands Response officers and the driver has been reported for due care offences”. 

We would advise any HGV drivers not to attempt to drive down this road in the future.
