Dear Members,

Here’s a quick round up from the Acocks Green neighbourhood policing team.

We have had in increase in vehicle crime, this is a reminder to ensure all cars with key-less ignition systems have their keys placed in a Faraday cage whilst they are parked on your drive. Please speak to your local neighbourhood team for further advice on this.

This weeks highlights:

  • Officers seized a suspicious package following enquiries with our partner at the royal mail, on inspection approximately £1000.00 worth of vacuum sealed Class B drugs were found, further enquires are taking place.
  • Officers on proactive patrol with help from members of the public located 2 males one of which was found to be carrying Machete. Following subsequent enquiries of the males officers found that one of the males was Wanted for immigration offences.
  • Officers have been diligently investigating numerous crime reports throughout the week with each case being carefully reviewed, considerable progress has been made in several investigations. We are committed to delivering justice and maintaining public safety by bringing offenders to account and providing closure to victims.
