I have taken it on myself this week to walk around every area on my patch, including some parks. As much as we can cover more areas in the day by car, I have found that on foot I can learn the area much better and I get to meet lots of nice people. Still lots of reports of antisocial motorbikes and illegal motorbikes. I have managed to speak to one biker, whilst on foot, he was fully insured to be riding. I will continue to patrol and prevent ASB where I can. #DriveSafe #BeInsured I attended the KDYT event as advertised on 25/04/2025. It was a brilliant event with loads of games and entertainment, well done KDYT! It was great to see members of the community I recognised and also meeting lots of new people. Children came along to try on some of the police uniform… also some adults. Along with great members of the community, I met a worker for the Children’s Society. She was very passionate about her job and it gives me hope for the youth of today with the education she gives around knives and good friends. This education is through “Steer Clear” Remember everyone, child or adult, you can report crimes anonymous through Fearless.org. This is very similar to crime stoppers, nothing will lead back to the person reporting. If you have worries or concerns visit Fearless.org or contact: 0800555111
Happy to say nice weather appears to be here and staying… for a bit. So stay hydrated and use sun cream where not covered up! I will see you all when back on Thursday 1st May.
