Due to a recent burglary, we are encouraging everyone to take these suitable measures to help keep their homes safe and prevent any burglaries: 

- If you are going away on holiday, don't post about it on social media. 

- Keep all valuables/ keys out of sight from windows. 

- Keep valuable items locked away in a safe/ secure unit inside your home e.g. code activated safe.

- Invest in good outdoor/ porch lighting and cctv. 

- Double check all doors, gates and windows are closed, locked and secure.

- Be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour via 101 or via InTheKnow. 

- Check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours. 

- Any push bikes or e-bikes should be marked via our BikeRegister website: The National Cycle Database | BikeRegister

- Join a neighbourhood watch group or local community group.
