Dear Residents, 

PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening: 

We have conducted high visible patrols in the areas of Harnall Lane east following information from residents of illegal parking on zig-zag lines by pedestrian crossing.  The team have also responded to reports of anti-social behaviour on Harnall Lane East along with the side roads of this. 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: 

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about in the community, making arrangements to complete youth engagement in partnership with Positive Youth Foundation.

Officers have conducted visits at your local community establishments where we are keen to set up Street Watch within Hillfields.

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests. Altogether there were 6 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. One offender that was locked up this week has now been sent back to prison for 8 weeks. Another great arrest that was made this week, we managed to seize a great number of drugs and a knife. 

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

We have had reports of vehicles being stolen and broken into. Make sure you are locking your vehicles when they are unattended, and keep all valuables out of sight.
