The Nedge Safer Neighbourhood Team have been made aware that the Crimestoppers signage that was put up in Hollinswood, has been damaged and some, taken down completely. The signs were put up to enable residents to contact Crimestoppers and report any concerns due to the fact that many do not feel comfortable informing the police.

The signs are property of West Mercia, and any damage or removal will be treated as criminal damage, with action being taken. The Chief Inspector has made it clear that the signage is to remain in place. Although not all residents were happy with the signs, the majority of feedback we have received form residents was positive and supportive. 

Officers will continue patrols in Hollinswood, to provide reassurance and presence in the area.
