Crime Alert - Theft of a Vehicle


Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a vehicle from Crosby House.

 

The incident occurred between 1900hrs and 1915hrs on Saturday 26th April. The offender(s) approached a Sinnis white coloured moped with registration GF20 RXT which was locked to railings outside Crosby House and used tools to remove the lock and steal the moped.

 

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 25000056955.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

  • Keep your vehicle locked at all times
  • Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.
  • Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products. 
  • Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.
  • If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a reply theft.
  • Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.
  • If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
