Good afternoon,

I am passing an update to those of you that may have noticed the three young people that were riding a Moped without helmets around Trinity and the surrounding areas.

Due to information received from concerned local residents the local neighbourhood team attended the area to try and locate the Moped. I am pleased to report that within a few minutes of being in the area the Moped was quickly located and the three youths riding the bike managed to abandon it without causing themselves injury. The bike has now been seized and will be crushed. The male rider has been positively identified and will be reported for the following offences

Driving without a valid driving license

Driving without third party insurance

Carry more than one passenger on a motorcycle
