Easter Fun

Kidderminster North Safer Neighbourhood Team joined with many families on Easter Saturday at White Wickets Park. Churches in kidderminster organised this egg - stravaganza with almost 400 Easter Eggs being given away to every child. Most of the easter eggs were kindly donated by local supermarkets and stores. The park saw approximately 1000 people during the community event.

Jason Borlase speaking for the “Friends of white wickets group"  said that he hoped the event had put Blake Marsh Nature Reserve and the “Friends of” group on the map for other locals to join the group both on facebook and at meetings that are held locally with a view to hosting similar events in the future.

White Wickets is a huge area, incorporating a childrens play area, bike ramps, football and rugby pitches all surrounded by the nature reserve.
