Dear Resident Another busy week for your local neighbourhood team. As the weather has got warmer and the final week of the Easter holidays some of our parks and green spaces have been incredibly busy. We have conducted stop searches on the Segundo estate after reports of possible drug use. We have recovered 4 packets of drugs and made the arrest at a property on Delves. An individual has been arrested for fail to attend court Officers were alerted to a property on the Crescent, Chuckery were a potential cannabis cultivation was being grown. Officers from the Delves neighbourhood /op prosper/response and problem solving teams all worked together to try to contain the location and capture the offenders. All 4 offenders were captured and arrested and the vehicle used has been seized. Approx 100 full size cannabis plants were seized. Officers were alerted to some suspicious behaviour in the Delves location after further investigation and a stop search a quantity of cannabis was found in the backpack the person had on them.
We have had theft of a transit van from Weston Street Criminal damage to a property on Westbromwich Road ( Window broken )
It appears that we are in for a few days of warm weather, it may be tempting to leave a window open slightly however this is a golden opportunity for our would be burglar. Please if your property in unoccupied make sure it is locked and secure.
Please pass on details of WMNOW so we can keep our communities up to date with what we have been doing.
