Theft of Motor Vehicle Windmill Lane Bushey Heath

This message is to make you aware of a theft of a works van from Windmill Lane Bushey Heath.

There is a tracker on the van which shows it was taken from this location at 23.10hrs on Sun 4th May.

The van is a white Ford Transit

Please check any CCTV you may have.

Tips to prevent vehicle crime:

Ensure you lock doors and shut windows/sunroof when leaving your vehicle unattended.

Always remove keys from the ignition when you are not with the vehicle

When parking, remember to set your immobiliser or alarm or use an approved steering lock or gear lever clamp.

Never leave valuables in your vehicle – not even in the glove box or boot – and keep all possessions out of sight – even coats, sunglasses and carrier bags.

Be aware of your keys. Don’t leave them visible on a windowsill or near to your front door, where they could be “hooked” through the letterbox.

If you have a keyless entry car use a signal blocking bag.

Store car ownership documents at home, not in your car.
