Cheltenham Neighbourhood Team have been out on patrols and siezed two illegal E-bikes.These bikes will not be returned back to the owners. 

The regulations for these Electric Bikes have been posted on the Cheltenham Neighbourhood Policing Team Facebook page however some important considerations are:

Throttle only bikes - Bikes that operate solely on throttle without peddling are not classified as EPACs and are subject to different regulations.
