Arson - Cosgrove

Police and Fire attended a fire at Cosgrove Hall yesterday (17/5/25) just before 1pm. It is believed to be deliberate ignition which has resulted in a very large, serious fire.

We have been informed that young people are frequenting this building and the many outbuildings surrounding it and locals will know that this is not the first fire that has taken place here. The building is extremely unsafe with walls and chimney stacks collapsing. We are very worried that if a person attempts to enter, they could be seriously injured or trapped. If you have young people at home, please talk to them about the dangers of fires and abandoned buildings.

Did you see or hear anything in the area that was suspicious or do you have Doorbell Camera, CCTV or Dashcam footage that may have captured any sightings of the offender/s or any possible vehicle.
