Eventful day for PCSO Rawson and PC Kendellen

Today PCSO Rawson and PC Kendellen were at Green Lawns Community Hall, Marsh Lane for their monthly community catch-up.

It was a great opportunity for members of the public to stop by, have a chat, and raise any concerns or questions in person. There's nothing quite like a face-to-face conversation when it comes to building trust and working together to keep our communities safe.

Afterwards, they headed out on patrol around some of their local hotspots areas, including the bike track and recreational spaces. The bike track is one of our current priorities for Eckington, so its important we maintain a visible presence and stay engaged with the community there.

It turned out to be a very eventful visit- PCSO Rawson and PC Kendellen were in the right place at the right time. A young girl had a fall from her bike, resulting in several grazes and a cut lip,. They were able to offer first aid assistance and reassurance. Shortly after, a young boy's bike wheel came off, and PC Kendellen came to the rescue and got it fixed.

A positive day spent out in the community, being there when it matters most.
